Food Rescue Project
We are working to preserve edible food rescued from grocery stores, restaurants, wholesalers, and private orchards & farms that is overstock that cannot be sold quickly or stored until it can be sold. We rescue the food, bring it to a community kitchen, and invite members of the community to can or otherwise prepare or preserve the food for their personal use. We welcome donations of canning jars, lids & rings; sugar, salt, white vinegar, pectin; kitchen or canning equipment.
